The Mysterious Ayakashi and the Sweets Shops: A Love Story is an immersive romance game designed with women in mind. In this game, players embark on a captivating journey by immersing themselves in a captivating narrative. As they make choices throughout the story, they will gradually develop a romantic relationship with their chosen male character.
The Story:
Step into the Spirit World, an enchanting realm under the watchful eye of Tsukumo, the nine-tailed fox spirit. As the protagonist of this tale, you find yourself as a ghost in the Spirit World, devoid of any recollection of your past life and unfinished business. With Tsukumo's guidance, you open a sweets shop, liberating yourself from the strict traditions of your family's confectionery business. As you embrace this new chapter, you begin to question if becoming an Ayakashi, a resident spirit of this world, could be your destiny.
The Characters:
Tsukumo: A charismatic nine-tailed fox.
- Honored and respected by all denizens of the town
- Beneath his nonchalant facade lies a serious and occasionally lonely demeanor
- Displays an insatiable desire for our heroine's mouthwatering confections
- "Mmm, it's delicious! Your confections are the best in the world!"
Akatsuki: An ogre and Tsukumo's old friend.
- A regular customer at our heroine's sweets shop
- An ambitious individual with an inferiority complex due to being only half-Ayakashi
- Strives to improve his strength to make up for his perceived deficiencies
- "Don't touch me. You shouldn't be anywhere near me."
Yuki: A snowman serving as Tsukumo's aide.
- Exerts a firm hand in dragging Tsukumo back to work when he slacks off
- A gentle and kind-hearted figure who watches over our heroine like an older brother
- "I'll always be there as your brother."
Mike: A mischievous Nekomata cat spirit known for his bakery, Cat Cakery.
- Runs his own bakery adjacent to our heroine's shop
- Perceived as either straightforward or somewhat naïve, depending on your perspective
- Loves engaging in friendly competition with our heroine to see who can gather the most sales
- "Hey! I came to see how empty your shop was today!"
Haruto: A ghost and popular waiter at Cat Cakery.
- Possesses a captivating yet enigmatic personality that attracts women effortlessly
- Takes a peculiar liking to our heroine, often leading her on for his own amusement
- The reasons for his existence as a ghost before our heroine arrived remain mysterious
- "We're both already dead, so our lives are over...but I believe we can still find happiness in the future."
